Private vocational schools and private higher education institutions are encouraged to provide students who are members of the Washington national guard or any other military reserve component and who are ordered for a period exceeding thirty days into active state service or federal active military service the same rights and opportunities provided under RCW 28B.10.270 by public higher education institutions.

Terms Used In Washington Code 28B.15.625
- Washington national guard: means that part of the military force of the state that is organized, equipped, and federally recognized under the provisions of the national defense act of the United States, and in the event the national guard is called into federal service or in the event the state guard or any part or individual member thereof is called into active state service by the commander-in-chief.
