Terms Used In Wisconsin Statutes 186.093
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
- Person: includes all partnerships, associations and bodies politic or corporate. See Wisconsin Statutes 990.01
(1) “Credit union” means a cooperative, nonprofit corporation incorporated under s. 186.02.
(2) “Director or officer” means a natural person who serves as a director or officer of a credit union or as a member of a credit union’s credit committee.
