Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 8-288
- Motor vehicle: means every vehicle that is self-propelled upon or by which any person or property is or may be transported or drawn upon a public highway except devices used exclusively upon stationary rails or tracks. See Kansas Statutes 8-273
- Person: means every natural person, firm, copartnership, association, corporation or school. See Kansas Statutes 8-273
Except as allowed under subsection (d)(4) of Kan. Stat. Ann. § 8-235, and amendments thereto, no license to operate a motor vehicle in Kansas shall be issued to a person for a period of three years from the date of the division’s order revoking such person’s driving privileges pursuant to Kan. Stat. Ann. § 8-286, and amendments thereto, and until the person’s driving privileges have been restored.
