Kit vehicle means a vehicle which was assembled by a person other than a generally recognized manufacturer of vehicles by the use of a reproduction resembling a specific manufacturer’s make and model that is at least thirty years old purchased from an authorized manufacturer and accompanied by a manufacturer’s statement of origin. Kit vehicle does not include glider kits.

Terms Used In Nebraska Statutes 60-119

  • Kit vehicle: means a vehicle which was assembled by a person other than a generally recognized manufacturer of vehicles by the use of a reproduction resembling a specific manufacturer's make and model that is at least thirty years old purchased from an authorized manufacturer and accompanied by a manufacturer's statement of origin.   • Person: shall include bodies politic and corporate, societies, communities, the public generally, individuals, partnerships, limited liability companies, joint-stock companies, and associations. See Nebraska Statutes 49-801
  • Vehicle: means a motor vehicle, all-terrain vehicle, utility-type vehicle, minibike, trailer, or semitrailer. See Nebraska Statutes 60-136
