Farm trailer means a trailer or semitrailer belonging to a farmer or rancher and used wholly and exclusively to carry supplies to or from the owner‘s farm or ranch, used by a farmer or rancher to carry his or her own agricultural products to or from storage or market, or used by a farmer or rancher for hauling of supplies or agricultural products in exchange of services. Farm trailer does not include a trailer so used when attached to a farm tractor.
Terms Used In Nebraska Statutes 60-324
- Agricultural products: means field crops and horticultural, viticultural, forestry, nut, dairy, livestock, poultry, bee, and farm products, including sod grown on the land owned or rented by the farmer, and the byproducts derived from any of them. See Nebraska Statutes 60-304
- Farm trailer: means a trailer or semitrailer belonging to a farmer or rancher and used wholly and exclusively to carry supplies to or from the owner's farm or ranch, used by a farmer or rancher to carry his or her own agricultural products to or from storage or market, or used by a farmer or rancher for hauling of supplies or agricultural products in exchange of services. - Owner: means a person, firm, or corporation which holds a legal title of a motor vehicle or trailer. See Nebraska Statutes 60-342
- Semitrailer: means any trailer so constructed that some part of its weight and that of its load rests upon or is carried by the towing vehicle. See Nebraska Statutes 60-348
- Trailer: means any device without motive power designed for carrying persons or property and being towed by a motor vehicle and so constructed that no part of its weight rests upon the towing vehicle. See Nebraska Statutes 60-354
