Parts vehicle means a vehicle or trailer the title to which has been surrendered (1) in accordance with subdivision (1)(a) of section 60-169 or (2) to any other state by the owner of the vehicle or an insurance company to render the vehicle fit for sale for scrap and parts only.
Terms Used In Nebraska Statutes 60-344
- Company: shall include any corporation, partnership, limited liability company, joint-stock company, joint venture, or association. See Nebraska Statutes 49-801
- Owner: means a person, firm, or corporation which holds a legal title of a motor vehicle or trailer. See Nebraska Statutes 60-342
- Parts vehicle: means a vehicle or trailer the title to which has been surrendered (1) in accordance with subdivision (1)(a) of section Nebraska Statutes 60-344
- State: when applied to different states of the United States shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories organized by Congress. See Nebraska Statutes 49-801
- Trailer: means any device without motive power designed for carrying persons or property and being towed by a motor vehicle and so constructed that no part of its weight rests upon the towing vehicle. See Nebraska Statutes 60-354
