Terms Used In North Carolina General Statutes 108A-70.45

  • state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the said district and territories and all dependencies. If a federally recognized Native American tribe within the State has assumed responsibility for the Medicaid program pursuant to N.C. Gen. Stat. § 108A-25(e), then this Part applies to the tribe in the same manner as it applies to county departments of social services. (2017-57, s. 11H.22(c).)
