Ohio Code 3707.50 – Warning concerning anabolic steroids to be conspicuously posted in athletic facility locker rooms
(A) As used in this section:

- imprisonment: means being imprisoned under a sentence imposed for an offense or serving a term of imprisonment, prison term, jail term, term of local incarceration, or other term under a sentence imposed for an offense in an institution under the control of the department of rehabilitation and correction, a county, multicounty, municipal, municipal-county, or multicounty-municipal jail or workhouse, a minimum security jail, a community-based correctional facility, or another facility described or referred to in section 2929. See Ohio Code 1.05
- Person: includes an individual, corporation, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, and association. See Ohio Code 1.59
(1) “Anabolic steroid” means a controlled substance, as defined in section 3719.01 of the Revised Code, that is designated as an anabolic steroid.
(2) “Athletic facility” means both of the following:
(a) A privately owned athletic training, exercise, or sports facility or stadium that is open to the public;
(b) A publicly owned sports facility or stadium.
(B) The following warning shall be conspicuously posted in each locker room of every athletic facility:
“Warning: improper use of anabolic steroids may cause serious or fatal health problems, such as heart disease, stroke, cancer, growth deformities, infertility, personality changes, severe acne, and baldness. Possession, sale, or use of anabolic steroids without a valid prescription is a crime punishable by a fine and imprisonment.”
(C) No privately owned athletic facility shall fail to post the warning required by this section.
(D) Any person who violates division (C) of this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree.
