In addition to any other name prescribed in the Revised Code or otherwise, the portion of the road known as state route number two hundred twenty-six, running in a northerly and southerly direction, between the intersection of that route and state route number five hundred fourteen and the location where state route number two hundred twenty-six passes Triway high school, in Wayne county, shall be known as the “Wayne County Gold Star Family Memorial Highway.”

The director of transportation may erect suitable markers along the highway indicating its name. If the director erects such markers, the director shall ensure that the markers include the gold star family symbol.
