Terms Used In Ohio Code 5551.01
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
- Person: includes an individual, corporation, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, and association. See Ohio Code 1.59
- Property: means real and personal property. See Ohio Code 1.59
- state: means the state of Ohio. See Ohio Code 1.59
(A) “Street or interurban railway company” includes any person, association, firm, or corporation owning any lands or property used for street or interurban railway purposes and any lessee thereof.
(B) “Road” includes any state or county road, or the street of any municipal corporation, or any part of such road or street, which forms a continuous road improvement.
