Terms Used In Oregon Statutes 125.800
- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
125.800 to 125.852 were enacted into law by the Legislative Assembly but were not added to or made a part of ORS Chapter 125 or any series therein by legislative action. See Preface to Oregon Revised Statutes for further explanation.
