Utah Code 26B-4-247. Department coordination

The department shall:

(1) provide draft rules made under this chapter to the advisory board for the advisory board’s review;

Advisory board: means the Medical Cannabis Policy Advisory Board created in Section 26B-1-435. See Utah Code 26B-4-201
Cannabis: means marijuana. See Utah Code 26B-4-201
Department: means the Department of Health and Human Services. See Utah Code 26B-4-201
Medical cannabis: means cannabis in a medicinal dosage form or a cannabis product in a medicinal dosage form. See Utah Code 26B-4-201

(2) consult with the advisory board regarding:

(2)(a) patient education; and

(2)(b) fees set by the department that pertain to the medical cannabis program; and

(3) when appropriate, consult with the advisory board regarding issues that arise in the medical cannabis program.
