- Child: means , except as provided in Section
80-2-905 , an individual who is under 18 years old. See Utah Code 80-1-102 - Person: means :(24)(a) an individual;(24)(b) an association;(24)(c) an institution;(24)(d) a corporation;(24)(e) a company;(24)(f) a trust;(24)(g) a limited liability company;(24)(h) a partnership;(24)(i) a political subdivision;(24)(j) a government office, department, division, bureau, or other body of government; and(24)(k) any other organization or entity. See Utah Code 68-3-12.5
- State: means :
(1)(a) a state of the United States;(1)(b) the District of Columbia;(1)(c) the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico;(1)(d) the Virgin Islands;(1)(e) Guam;(1)(f) the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands; or(1)(g) a territory or possession administered by the United States. See Utah Code 80-2-901Any person who, under any law of this state other than this part or the Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children established under Section
80-2-905 , has authority to make or assist in making the placement of a child, shall continue to have the ability lawfully to make or assist in making that placement, and the provisions of Sections26B-2-127 ,26B-2-131 ,26B-2-132 , and26B-2-708 , Subsections80-2-802 (3)(a) and (4) and80-2-803 (1), (2), and (5) through (7), and Title 78B, Chapter 6, Part 1, Utah Adoption Act, continue to apply. - State: means :
