Terms Used In Vermont Statutes Title 6 Sec. 4850
- Domestic: when applied to a corporation, company, association, or copartnership shall mean organized under the laws of this State; "foreign" when so applied, shall mean organized under the laws of another state, government, or country. See
- Domestic fowl: means laying-hens, broilers, ducks, turkeys, or any other number or type of fowl that the Secretary deems domestic fowl. See
- Livestock: means cattle, mature cow/calf pairs, youngstock, heifers, bulls, swine, sheep, goats, horses, or any other number and type of domestic animal that the Secretary deems livestock. See
- Secretary: means the Secretary of Agriculture, Food and Markets. See
§ 4850. Definitions
As used in this subchapter:
(1) “Domestic fowl” means laying-hens, broilers, ducks, turkeys, or any other number or type of fowl that the Secretary deems domestic fowl.
(2) “Livestock” means cattle, mature cow/calf pairs, youngstock, heifers, bulls, swine, sheep, goats, horses, or any other number and type of domestic animal that the Secretary deems livestock.
