Assembled vehicle means a motor vehicle or trailer which was manufactured or assembled less than thirty years prior to application for registration under the Motor Vehicle Registration Act and which is materially altered from its construction by the removal, addition, or substitution of new or used major component parts unless such major component parts were replaced under warranty by the original manufacturer of the motor vehicle or trailer. Its make shall be assembled, and its model year shall be the year in which the motor vehicle or trailer was assembled.

Terms Used In Nebraska Statutes 60-309

  • Assembled vehicle: means a motor vehicle or trailer which was manufactured or assembled less than thirty years prior to application for registration under the Motor Vehicle Registration Act and which is materially altered from its construction by the removal, addition, or substitution of new or used major component parts unless such major component parts were replaced under warranty by the original manufacturer of the motor vehicle or trailer.   • Manufacturer: means a person, partnership, limited liability company, or corporation engaged in the business of manufacturing snowmobiles. See Nebraska Statutes 60-3,207
  • Motor vehicle: means any vehicle propelled by any power other than muscular power. See Nebraska Statutes 60-339
  • Trailer: means any device without motive power designed for carrying persons or property and being towed by a motor vehicle and so constructed that no part of its weight rests upon the towing vehicle. See Nebraska Statutes 60-354
  • Year: shall mean calendar year. See Nebraska Statutes 49-801
